October Round-Up: Celebrating Community, Industry Insight, and Charity at Loveitts Estate Agents
October at Loveitts Estate Agents was a memorable month of meaningful events, community engagement, educational outreach, and industry insights. Our team is proud to share the highlights of this active month, where we celebrated partnerships, supported important causes, and worked to inspire future generations. Here’s a full round-up of everything that happened this month.
Girl Guides Covopoly Challenge in Coventry
The month began with a buzz as our Coventry office became part of the Covopoly Girl Guides Challenge! This citywide scavenger hunt saw Girl Guides from across Coventry scanning QR codes at key locations, with Loveitts proudly serving as one of the stops. Our team loved being part of this interactive event that inspired exploration, fun, and a sense of community among the Girl Guides. To every Guide who took part in Covopoly, thank you for including Loveitts in your adventure, and congratulations on completing this exciting challenge!
Supporting a Great Cause: Macmillan Coffee Morning
Our Loveitts offices united to host a Macmillan Coffee Morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. This event saw our team members come together for coffee, conversation, and fundraising for a cause that impacts so many families across the UK. With freshly brewed coffee and treats on offer, we spent the morning raising funds that will directly help Macmillan in providing care for those affected by cancer. Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to this special morning - each donation brings us a step closer to making a positive difference in the lives of those in need.
Landlord Support: Renters’ Rights Bill Update & Stratford Racecourse Forum
October also saw essential updates for landlords, starting with our expert team, Paul Barnes and Becky Gill, providing insights on recent changes to the Renters’ Rights Bill. With new details introduced, we understand it’s crucial for landlords to stay updated on how these adjustments may affect their tenancies. Paul and Becky broke down the changes in an insightful video discussion that’s available on our YouTube channel. We’re committed to supporting our landlords by keeping them informed about evolving legislation and industry best practices.
Additionally, Paul attended the Landlord Forum at Stratford Racecourse - a stunning location for an event dedicated to networking and property management education. The forum allowed landlords to connect with industry peers, gather property management tips, and stay ahead of the latest rental market trends. At Loveitts, we prioritise providing our landlords with knowledge and resources, ensuring they’re equipped to make the best decisions in an ever-changing market.
Community Giving: Loveitts Charity Quiz Night Raises £1600
One of the month’s most fulfilling events was our Annual Loveitts Charity Quiz Night, where we hosted over 100 guests in a lively evening of competition, camaraderie, and generosity. Through the participation of our wonderful community, we were able to raise over £1600 for Cyrenians, our chosen charity that provides support to vulnerable individuals in our area. Congratulations to the top teams of the night: Ollis & Co, Handelsbanken, and Mander Hadley - your enthusiasm helped make this event a success! We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us, donated, and made a difference. It was truly an evening to remember.
Shaping the Future: Careers Evening at Heart of England School
We also had the honor of attending a Careers Evening at Heart of England School in Balsall Common, where representatives from numerous fields came together to share insights with students in Years 10 through 13. Loveitts was represented by Becky Gill and Amy Burgess, who were thrilled to offer guidance on pursuing careers in real estate and the value of community involvement. With professionals from fields as varied as law enforcement, engineering, and education in attendance, the students were given a well-rounded view of potential career paths. Loveitts is dedicated to supporting the next generation, helping students make informed choices and encouraging them to explore their interests.
October was a month full of energy, compassion, and connection for Loveitts Estate Agents. From supporting local youth and community causes to offering vital resources for landlords, our commitment to our community and industry remains steadfast. As we look toward November, we’re excited to continue building on this momentum, making a meaningful impact in our community, and keeping our clients informed every step of the way. Thank you to everyone who made this October so special!
