On Sunday 12th June 2011 the Loveitts team of John Pugh, Chris Edsall, Marc Atkins, James Cole and Merrie Dalton successfully completed the Warwickshire Two Castles Run and in doing so raised an impressive total of almost £2,000 for the Myton Hospice Charity.
The 10k run took place in particularly wet and miserable conditions, although nothing could dampen the enthusiasm and commitment of the team with Marc Atkins romping home in just 52 minutes and 30 seconds smashing John Pugh’s previous team record of 1 hour 3 minutes and 52 seconds set in 2010. Having said that John did comment that Marc had the benefit of a following wind!
A photo of the team has now been uploaded to the community section of the Myton Hospice website with Sarah Dolby, Assistant Events Fund Raising Manager for the charity expressing her thanks to Loveitts for their impressive total raised on this occasion.
