Loveitts are pleased to report that 2011 was an excellent year for vendors and purchasers who bought and sold at Auction.
A total of 6 Auctions were held at The Allesley Hotel in Coventry, and the number of people attending the auctions increased over the year. September 2011 ended up being our most successful Auction of the year with 100% success, comprising of sales prior, on the night and post auction.
Nationally, the number of Lots offered for sale is down, but the percentage sold is up, with a marked improvement in sales of Commercial properties, and smaller properties in popular areas.
In Coventry and Warwickshire, Loveitts experience has been that providing a property is Guided and Reserved at a competitive price the property will sell, and indeed in many cases will achieve well over the guide price, and at a level that vendors are more than satisfied with.
The certainty of the sale remains a very strong incentive for Vendors. Coupled with transparency and speed, Auction can be the perfect way to dispose of property or land.
Loveitts hold Auctions in accordance with RICS guidelines and we pride ourselves on providing an excellent service not only to our Vendors but to our Purchasers too. We have built up strong relationships with solicitors, Local Authorities and other professional companies within the area.
Lots are now being taken for our Auction on 1st February 2012, and if you are interested in disposing of a property at Auction please do not hesitate to call us for an appraisal of the property, and an informal chat to go through the process of selling.
Selling at Auction is of course very different to that on the open market, and we feel that it is important to ensure that our client understands the process and all of the benefits of selling at Auction. In some cases, if we feel that selling on the open market would be a better option for a potential vendor then we will advise them accordingly.
So don’t delay, contact us now to arrange a meeting or simply just for a chat. Join the Loveitts Auction Success!
